When you working on the arrangement of a song and if you want to make a change to a specific looping region, but then have it continue looping the region before the one you changed. (drum rolls, bass line changes, chord mods, etc).

You can do this with the Pencil tool!

When you have the pencil tool, option click on a looping region and it will turn into a real editable region. What I'll normally do, is turn the loop AFTER the part I want to change into a real copy FIRST, then the region I want to change. I do this so the region will continue to loop as normal after the region I make the change to. For some reason Logic thinks the loop after your edited one shouldn't keep looping, so you have to click it and simply hit "L" for loop so it continues to loop as normal.

Try this trick, you'll be hooked!

hi
I have designed a template containing 3 levels (25x25pix). these levels is going to be used to return & on on the site (they each have a 25x25pix picture), therfore the hyperlinks upon all these layers change based on the web page becoming frequented except the top one that usually points by. by default DW makes all regions on the new theme no editable. now, i already created the actual webpages with a various navigational design and want to alter them using this new template. around the brand new theme i attempted to make all regions editable in order to hyperlink all of them appropriately, however when i try to use the brand new theme i recieve this information: some of the content material about this document does not have a location to get in the new template, make sure you select a good editable region to get this content or even select (not one) if its okay to toss the information away. this content is actually what is on the page which are already made. additionally, we made 4 editable regions (the 3 levels and also the entire BG. I tried different combos however i still get this particular message. both of these links get you to those examples before and after applying the template respectively.
